Project: Business Cards

One of my favorite tasks, I had a client reach out to me and ask me to ‘handle making business cards happen’, and provide me with a detailed scope (I LOVE organized clients!) that was easy to follow.

I reviewed the scope document, came up with a plan, then headed over to vistaprint.com and got going. I designed their business cards using a simple, clean layout that matched their website and overall demeanor, used their brandboard to find the right colors and fonts, and used their text to fill out the cards.

Once that was all done, I simply sent them the proofs for approval, they approved, then I placed the order and sent the invoice!

It’s a win-win because I’m the details guy who looks at all the little parts and pieces to make sure they’re correct, accurate, and well written, and the client doesn’t have to spend the time making it all happen. They gave me what they wanted, I produced, they approved, I ordered, then they paid. DONE.
